THE power-breaker from Tarlac City, Francisco "Django" Bustamante, has finally achieved his goal, to top again the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) rankings list. Bustamante reclaimed his over-all position after winning this year's WPA World 9-Ball Championships in Doha, Qatar.
"I will do my very best in my future events for flag and country," said Bustamante, one of the top players of sportsman/ businessman Aristeo "Putch" Puyat, considered the Philippines billiards God Father.
Bustamante has a total 1142 points, 170 points ahead over second place Karl Boyes of Great Britan with 972.
Sharing the limelight are No.3 Antonio "Nickoy "Lining (940 points), No. 5 Jeffrey "The Bull" de Luna (841 points), No.7 Ronato "Volcano" Alcano (784 points), No.8 Vinancio "Tukao" Tanio (759 points), No.9 Marlon "Marvelous" Manalo (732 points) and No.10 Lee Vann "The Slayer" Corteza (704 points).
Rounding up the top 10 are No.4 "The Little Monster" Kuo Po-cheng of Chinese-Taipei (848 points) and No.6 Niels "The Terminator" Feijen of the Netherlands (600 points).MARLON BERNARDINO
