ALL AMATEUR OPEN 9-BALL

TOUR RESUMES IN HOBBIES BILLIARD-8 ON APRIL 5

DOZENS of aspiring cue artists want to follow the foot step of Filipino billiards great Efren "Bata" Reyes, Francisco "Django" Bustamante and Alex "The Lion" Pagulayan gather anew as the All Amateurs Players Open 9-Ball Tournament resumes with its weekly leg on April 5 to 6 at the Hobbies Billiard 8 President Diosdado Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City.

Supported by sports patron Danny Bariso, the double knock-out, race-to-6 format offers P5,000 to the champion and P2,000 to the runner-up place.

Tournament coordinator RP no.1 trick shot champion Julie "Falcon" Guevarra said that a whopping top purse P20,000 awaits to the Grand Finale winners slated this year.

Mr. Guevarra added that the 9-ball tournament is open to all amateurs player in the country which aims to discover new billiards talents.

it's good because many people still supporting the sports billiard here in our country...but the real oddball is...those greedy managers who handle them..if the government could just support our very talented players..things would not be complicated..
